Easter Egg Hunt
While this wasn't Xan's first Easter (something his mother had forgotten ... Baby Brandon already has an adorable First Easter bib and he won;t arrive until June)this was the first Easter he actually participated in! Because the "toddlers" got baggies full of Cheerios and not colorful eggs, Xan got to egg hunt with the 3 and 4 year olds ... and he held his own! He's a natural egg hunter, quickly scooping up eggs and throwing them in his basket. Then he started practicing for next year by taking them out of the basket and putting them back on the ground so he could pick them up yet again. He ought to do quite well against the 5 and 6 year old next year.
Will made out like a bandit and filled his bucket full of eggs. He and Daddy went through them to make sure he didn't have one of the pieces of paper for the "big" prizes. Neither he or Xan did.
Will is now very in to dressing himself. He does pretty good with matching, but prefers to don the rattiest clothes he owns. And the past few days he has wanted to wear his red bandana on his head. Today, strangers kept asking him if he was a pirate ... at least they didn't make comments about him being a gang member, which is one of the reasons why banadanas can't be worn at school, much to Will's disappointment. (And Mom's relief!)
