Soccer and trophies...

This weekend was a busy one for the Guthrie's. Grandma Nancy flew in Friday night for a 2.5 week stay. She's just in time to enjoy Hurricane Ida, which we've watered, gassed and batteried up for. It is supposed to be a Category 1 hurricane when it hits here, so nothing too awful, from what I have been told. Giove me an earthquake any day!

On Saturday Xan played soccer. And I mean PLAYED! After about three minutes of crying, he took to the field like a pro, out scoring, outrunning and out kicking all of the other kids. They probably liked it better when Xan was still a headcase. Next weekend is the last game, so better late than never!


Later that day, Will had his team party and got his trophy... way to go, dude!
