Xan's 1st Birthday Party

Xan didn't know it, but today was his first birthday! We had a little celebration at home with barbecued hamburgers, cake and ice cream. Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Mark, GG, Uncle Joe, Aunt Gina, Katie, and the Paturzos (Nan, Peter, Frannie, Marli and Kayley) all came over for the food, fun and present opening! Xan got a fun farm set from the Paturzos (Will got some camouflage Easter eggs and a musical toothbrush from them, too!), clothes from Grandma and Grandpa, and Uncle Joe and Aunt Gina. Grandma Nancy even threw in two toy cars - one of them was the same green car Grandma Peggy in Illinois sent him for Easter! Great Minds think alike! GG put some money in savings for his future college bills, Katie gave Xan some cute light-up sandals and Mommy and Daddy got him big boy sippee cups and a book. But I think the cars, light up shoes and farm set were his favorites!
