Open House Night

The kids' school Open House was this evening. We visited each boys' class and they proudly showed off their work. I was the only parent with a camera, but I did not care. I know their are people in the States who need the photos!

Next up was Will's class. He splits his time between last year's teacher Mr. Goering, who teaches math and science, and my friend, Amy Elder, who teaches social studies, reading and writing.

Will's grade has a classroom economy. They have jobs, they earn paychecks and bonuses, but, as you can see above, there also fines.

In gifted class, Will made this word tree... with words that he thinks describe him.

A sight not always seen at an Open House... it was the high school ROTC color guard.
