Sightseeing around Pensacola

While my Dad was in town, we did some historic sightseeing, since that is what my Dad likes to do. Both of these places - the Pensacola Lighthouse and Fort Pickens - had been on my to-do list, so it was nice to do it  before we left the area.

Looking up through the steps inside the lighthouse. There are 177 of them.

Looking across the intercoastal waterway to where Fort Pickens is. During the civil war, the lighthouse was held by confederate forces while Fort Pickens was union.
